Job summary

Randstad Student Support is recruiting for Specialist-one-to-one Study Skills Support Workers to assist autistic students at a university in Guildford. You will design individual learning plans and provide tailored academic guidance to foster independent learning.

Requirements include an undergraduate degree (level 6), a teaching qualification (QTS/PGCE/QTLS) and extensive autism training. Benefits include flexible hours, weekly PAYE payments and access to CPD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (level 6) and teaching qualification (QTS/PGCE/QTLS) with extensive autism training.
• Experience working with autistic students is desirable.
• DfE Disabled Students Allowance qualification framework awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide learning support and academic guidance to autistic students.
• Create individual learning plans tailored to student needs.
• Encourage independence and self-directed learning.
• Develop study skills across organisation, time management and research.
• Build on reading and writing comprehension and referencing skills.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct with Randstad.
