Job summary

Tesco is hiring for an HGV Class 2 Driver (C) to join our Normanton Transport Team. This permanent, full-time role offers a 4-day working week, a 3-week rolling rota and regular overtime opportunities with a modern Mercedes fleet.

You will deliver and collect, ensuring products reach over 1,000 One Stop stores across the UK. A Class 2 licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are required, with a focus on safe driving and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Class 2 (C) Licence required.
• Driver CPC required.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations.

Responsibilities

• Professionally representing the Tesco One Stop brand whilst on UK roads.
• Ensuring products reach Tesco stores on time and in good condition.
• Working on the road and collaboratively with colleagues to represent One Stop to everyone you meet.
• Driving safely, responsibly and within the law.
• Collecting and delivering, supporting the distribution centre by moving trailers and keeping vehicles fuelled.
