Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seeks an experienced clinician to manage day-to-day medical care on the Oncology Ward. The post holder will supervise the junior team to ensure prompt e-discharge summaries, VTE assessments, and dementia screening, with effective communication to GPs and referring clinicians.

Responsabilidades

• Manage all aspects of day-to-day medical care on the Oncology Ward.
• Supervise the junior team to ensure prompt completion of e-discharge summaries, VTE assessments, dementia screening, result endorsement.
• Ensure good communication with General Practitioners and referring clinicians as appropriate.
• Contribute to the development of the service and participate in Governance meetings.
• Provide continuity and training for Oncology ward juniors.
• Support expansion of the Middle Grade Oncology team with proactive integration of visiting Palliative Care Service.
