Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Specialty Doctor in Oncology at Headington. The post focuses on continuity of care for in-patients on the Oncology Ward and rapid review of patients via the Oncology Triage Unit.

The post collaborates with ward FY3 doctors and Oncology Consultants to deliver high-quality care and to support the development of an expanded Middle Grade Oncology team, including liaison with Palliative Care services.

Qualifications

• Candidate must hold GMC registration and MRCP or MRCGP qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in oncology or related specialties is preferred.
• Commitment to high-quality patient care within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsabilités

• Provide continuity of care for in-patients on the Oncology Ward.
• Provide rapid review of patients presenting via the Oncology Triage Unit.
• Work with the ward team to deliver excellent oncology care and liaise with outreach services.
• Supervise junior colleagues and contribute to governance and service development.
