Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim, UK, is offering a 12-month University Intern role in Oncology Marketing, based at our head office in Winnersh. The internship starts September 2027 and requires you to work from the office at least two days a week.

You will support planning and delivery of oncology marketing projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and use Microsoft 365 tools to produce clear, compliant outputs while learning project management and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Currently studying for a business, marketing, life sciences, pharmacy or another relevant degree, or an equivalent qualification and completing a placement year as part of the course.
• A minimum of three A levels at grades ABB, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and delivery of oncology marketing projects, including launch-readiness activities, campaign materials and team communications.
• Take ownership of defined workstreams such as project trackers, competitor and market updates, meeting outputs and performance reporting.
• Work with cross-functional colleagues and external agencies to coordinate inputs, timelines, reviews and next steps.
• Use Microsoft 365 tools, internal approval systems and available data sources to organise information, create clear outputs and monitor progress.
• Contribute insight and ideas that help the team make informed decisions and deliver high-quality, compliant work on time.
• Participate in team meetings, training and development activities, presenting progress and lessons from assigned projects.
