Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim UK offers a 12-month paid internship based at our head office in Winnersh, starting September 2027. You will join the UK Oncology Marketing team to support planning and delivery of activities for oncology product launches, collaborating with marketing, medical, market access, communications and agencies.

Gain hands-on experience with insights, strategy and compliant communications while owning defined projects and coordinating across teams.

Qualifications

• Currently studying for a business, marketing, life sciences, pharmacy or another relevant degree.
• Three A levels at grades ABB or equivalent.
• Right to work in the UK for the full duration of the internship.
• Ability to travel independently to the usual place of work and, where required, to other sites.
• Interest in healthcare, marketing or the pharmaceutical industry, with ability to analyse information and present it clearly.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and delivery of oncology marketing projects, including launch-readiness activities, campaign materials and team communications.
• Take ownership of defined workstreams such as project trackers, competitor and market updates, meeting outputs and performance reporting.
• Work with cross-functional colleagues and external agencies to coordinate inputs, timelines, reviews and next steps.
• Use Microsoft 365 tools, internal approval systems and available data sources to organise information, create outputs and monitor progress.
• Contribute insight and ideas that help the team make informed decisions and deliver high-quality, compliant work on time.
• Participate in team meetings, training and development activities, presenting progress and lessons from assigned projects.
