Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim UK offers a 12-month paid internship in the Oncology Marketing team, based at the head office in Winnersh. The role requires a minimum of two days a week in the office and provides hands-on experience supporting launch planning, cross-functional collaboration, and compliant communications.

You will own defined projects, develop project management and stakeholder skills, and work with marketing, medical, market access and agency partners while gaining exposure to data,

Qualifications

• Currently studying for a business, marketing, life sciences, pharmacy or another relevant degree, or an equivalent qualification and completing a placement year as part of the course.
• A minimum of three A levels at grades ABB, or equivalent.
• The right to work in the UK for the full duration of the internship.
• The ability to travel independently to the usual place of work and, where required, to other sites.
• An interest in healthcare, marketing or the pharmaceutical industry, with the ability to analyse information and present it clearly.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and delivery of oncology marketing projects, including launch-readiness activities, campaign materials and team communications.
• Take ownership of defined workstreams such as project trackers, competitor and market updates, meeting outputs and performance reporting.
• Work with cross-functional colleagues and external agencies to coordinate inputs, timelines, reviews and next steps.
• Use Microsoft 365 tools, internal approval systems and available data sources to organise information, create clear outputs and monitor progress.
• Contribute insight and ideas that help the team make informed decisions and deliver high-quality, compliant work on time.
• Participate in team meetings, training and development activities, presenting progress and lessons from assigned projects.
