Job summary

GenesisCare UK is seeking an Oncology Pharmacist for our Guildford Centre, onsite, full-time. You will provide pharmaceutical expertise for oncology patients and support medicines management to ensure safe, effective care.

This role involves sustaining the daily operation of the Pharmacy Department and contributing to patient-centred treatment. This position offers a weekday-only schedule with no weekends, late shifts, or on-call duties, and access to pioneering cancer drugs and clinical trials

Qualifications

• Experience in oncology and/or haematology within a hospital setting.
• Experience with dispensing medicines and medicine management in hospital.
• Ability to screen and check systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT) prescriptions.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive clinical pharmacy and medicine management service to oncology patients.
• Assist in the procurement, preparation, dispensing and distribution of medicines.
• Clinical checking of chemotherapy and final release to nursing staff.
