Job summary

GenesisCare UK in Maidstone seeks a Pharmacist – Oncology/Haematology to join our state-of-the-art cancer care centre. You will provide pharmaceutical expertise and lead medicines management for our patients, staff and consultants, ensuring safe, effective care within the Pharmacy Department.

Key duties include supporting oncology/haematology patients, dispensing, clinical checking of chemotherapy and contributing to protocol development, audits, and practice improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in oncology and haematology.
• Registered with GPHC and eligible to practise in the UK.
• BSc Pharm or MPHARM degree.
• One year's preregistration training completed.
• Postgraduate clinical pharmacy qualification desirable.
• Member of Royal Pharmaceutical Society and BOPA.
• Independent Prescriber status is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive oncology/haematology pharmacy service.
• Support medicines management and safe dispensing within the pharmacy department.
• Perform clinical checking of chemotherapy and release to nursing staff.
• Contribute to protocol development and practice research.
