Job summary

A leading healthcare recruitment agency seeks an experienced Oncology consultant for a full-time locum position with an NHS Trust in the South West. The role involves running a SACT service and offering expert clinical opinions. Candidates must have GMC registration and relevant experience. The position is set to begin ASAP and continue until the end of January.

• Able to take full responsibility for patient care.

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Oncology consultant to work with an NHS Trust in the South West. This is a full time locum position with proposed working hours of Mon-Fri, 09:00 – 17:00.

The role is set to begin ASAP and will be ongoing until the end of January.

Requiring a clinical oncologist who can cover urology (and breast preferably). Able and experienced to run a SACT service and radiotherapy service for a major tumour site and one other tumour site. Also able to offer expert clinical opinion and to take full and independent responsibility for clinical care of patients.

Please note that this position is inside IR35.

To be eligible, you must have GMC registration, Enhanced DBS, and Right to work in the UK.
