Job summary

East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust is hiring a Chemotherapy Registered Nurse for the Lister Macmillan Cancer Centre in Stevenage. Qualifications

• Active, current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
• Degree level in adult nursing or health-related subject.
• Willingness to undertake formal chemotherapy course.
• Post-registration qualifications in oncology and/or chemotherapy.
• Advanced communication course.

Responsibilities

• Undertake and assist in safe administration of cytotoxic chemotherapy and monoclonal antibodies within Oncology-Haematology.
• Ensure high standard nursing care in line with hospital policies and units philosophy.
• Support the Senior Nurse for Chemotherapy Services and the team in all aspects of the role.
