Job summary

The East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust is recruiting a Chemotherapy Registered Nurse for the Lister Macmillan Cancer Centre in Stevenage. You will be involved in the safe administration of cytotoxic chemotherapy and monoclonal antibodies, while providing ongoing support to patients and their carers.

Ideally you will have some oncology experience; full training will be provided. The Trust values flexible working patterns and supports learning and development to deliver high-quality cancer

Qualifications

• Experience in oncology and delivery of systemic anti-cancer treatment.
• Full training will be provided to the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Assist in safe administration of cytotoxic chemotherapy and monoclonal antibodies.
• Provide ongoing support to patients and carers in the chemotherapy unit.
• Maintain high-quality nursing care in line with policies and standards.
• Support the Senior Nurse for Chemotherapy Services and the team.
