Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an HR Administration and Onboarding specialist to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new starters. You will manage onboarding tasks, conduct compliance checks (references, medicals, disclosures, employment history) and keep HR systems accurate.

Working closely with candidates, services, internal teams and external partners, you will take ownership of issues, deliver excellent service, juggle priorities in a fast-paced corporate shared services environment, and apply

Qualifications

• Previous experience in HR administration, onboarding or customer service
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and pride in getting things right
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Proactive approach and confidence to take ownership
• Ability to handle challenging situations professionally
• Good understanding of compliance, HR legislation and GDPR
• Genuine focus on delivering great customer service
• Experience in a fast-paced corporate HR or shared services environment, handling large volumes of work, or using iTrent would be an advantage

Responsibilities

• Ensure every new starter has a smooth onboarding experience
• Manage and follow up on onboarding and compliance checks, including references, medicals, disclosure checks and employment history
• Keep HR systems accurate and up to date
• Work closely with candidates, services, internal teams and external partners
• Take ownership of issues and use initiative to find solutions
• Provide excellent service to candidates and internal teams
• Juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment
