Job summary

Redkite Solicitors in Stroud is seeking an Onboarding Assistant to support the residential conveyancing onboarding team and ensure smooth early-stage client onboarding. You will work with onboarding specialists to assist fee earners and help create a positive, reassuring client experience from day one.

The role involves handling onboarding documentation, conducting basic checks, maintaining trackers, and supporting administrative duties.

Qualifications

  • Willingness to learn onboarding processes and compliance requirements such as anti-money laundering and source-of-funds checks.
  • Some awareness of legal or administrative processes related to residential conveyancing or onboarding is helpful
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to keep work well-structured.

Responsibilities

  • Kickstart every client journey – send onboarding packs and links promptly to set a clear, positive start.
  • Keep momentum – manage incoming documents, anticipate next steps, and make professional calls to move the process.
  • Be guardian of quality – assist checks, searches and due diligence to ensure information is accurate and compliant.
  • Set files up for success – organise onboarding documentation for a smooth handover.
  • Create a standout client experience – communicate with warmth and professionalism to reassure clients.
  • Work with onboarding and legal teams to deliver a seamless, efficient service.

Onboarding Assistant

Location: Stroudor Gloucester Contract: Permanent Hours: Full-time,35hours,9am – 5pm Start Date: ASAP

Are you organised, detail-oriented, and motivated by delivering a smooth and professional client experience from the very start? At Redkite Solicitors,we’relooking for anOnboarding Assistantto join our Residential Conveyancing Onboarding Team, supporting the efficient and consistent onboarding of all residential property matters.

In this role, you will support theearly stagesof the client onboarding process by helping to make sure everything is set up smoothly before work begins on a client’s matter.Working closely with the Onboarding Specialists,you’llplay an important part in keeping things running efficiently, supporting fee earners, and helping to create a positive and reassuring experience for every client.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Kickstart every client journey – Send out onboarding packs andrelevantlinks promptly, setting the tone for aclearand positivestart for everyclient.

  • Set files up for success – Organise and prepare onboarding documentation so every matter is ready for a smooth handover.
  • Create a standout client experience – Communicate with warmth and professionalism, making every interaction feelsupportiveandwell-guided.
  • Work together to win – Collaborate closely withcolleagues across the onboarding and legal teams to deliver a seamless, efficient service.
  • Stay on top of it all – Keep trackers and systems updated, ensuring full visibility and control across onboarding matters.
  • Be a valued team player – Take responsibility for essential administrative duties and contribute to awellorganised, compliantdocument trail.
Requirements
  • Willingness to learn – Keen to develop knowledge of onboarding processes and compliance requirements such as anti-money laundering and source-of-funds checks.
  • Some awareness of legal or administrative processes – Any exposure to residential conveyancing, or onboarding is helpful, but not essential.
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail – Able tohandletasksaccuratelyandkeep work well-structured.
