Redkite Solicitors in Stroud/Gloucester is seeking an Onboarding Assistant to support the early stages of client onboarding for residential conveyancing matters. You will work with Onboarding Specialists to ensure a smooth setup and a reassuring client experience.

The role focuses on accurate document handling, compliance checks, and creating a positive initial client journey within a busy team. Training will cover onboarding processes and AML controls.

Responsibilities

  • Kickstart every client journey by sending onboarding packs and links to set a clear, positive start for each client.
  • Maintain momentum by managing incoming documents, anticipating next steps, and making professional calls.
  • Support checks by carrying out searches and due diligence to ensure information is accurate and compliant.
  • Set up files with onboarding documentation for a smooth handover.
  • Communicate with warmth and professionalism to create a supportive client experience.
  • Collaborate with onboarding and legal teams to deliver a seamless service.
  • Keep trackers and systems updated for visibility and control across onboarding matters.
  • Handle essential administrative duties to keep a well-organised, compliant document trail.

Onboarding Assistant

Location: Stroudor Gloucester Contract: Permanent Hours: Full-time,35hours,9am – 5pm Start Date: ASAP

Are you organised, detail-oriented, and motivated by delivering a smooth and professional client experience from the very start? At Redkite Solicitors,we’relooking for anOnboarding Assistantto join our Residential Conveyancing Onboarding Team, supporting the efficient and consistent onboarding of all residential property matters.

In this role, you will support theearly stagesof the client onboarding process by helping to make sure everything is set up smoothly before work begins on a client’s matter.Working closely with the Onboarding Specialists,you’llplay an important part in keeping things running efficiently, supporting fee earners, and helping to create a positive and reassuring experience for every client.

What Will You Be Doing?
  • Kickstart every client journey – Send out onboarding packs andrelevantlinks promptly, setting the tone for aclearand positivestart for everyclient.
  • Keep the momentum going – Stay on top of incoming documents,anticipatenext steps, and use professional, courteous phone calls tokeep theprocessmoving.
  • Be the guardian of quality – Support essential checks by carrying out searches andduediligencetasks, helping to make sure all information isaccurateand compliant.
  • Set files up for success – Organise and prepare onboarding documentation so every matter is ready for a smooth handover.
  • Create a standout client experience – Communicate with warmth and professionalism, making every interaction feelsupportiveandwell-guided.
  • Work together to win – Collaborate closely withcolleagues across the onboarding and legal teams to deliver a seamless, efficient service.
  • Stay on top of it all – Keep trackers and systems updated, ensuring full visibility and control across onboarding matters.
  • Be a valued team player – Take responsibility for essential administrative duties and contribute to awellorganised, compliantdocument trail.
Requirements
  • Willingness to learn – Keen to develop knowledge of onboarding processes and compliance requirements such as anti-money laundering and source-of-funds checks.
  • Some awareness of legal or administrative processes – Any exposure to residential conveyancing, or onboarding is helpful, but not essential.
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail – Able tohandletasksaccuratelyandkeep work well-structured.
  • Process-driven – Comfortable following clear steps and procedures.
  • Confident andclientfocusedcommunicator – Friendly and professional when speaking with clients and colleagues, prioritising clarity,responsivenessand a positive experience in every interaction.
  • Positive under pressure – Enjoy working in a busy environment and managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Digitally proficient – Confident using IT systems; experience with case management systems is a bonus.
  • Team player – Happy to support colleagues and contribute to a collaborative, supportive team environment.
