Job summary

RWS Global is seeking an Entertainment Technician to support the on‑board entertainment program across venues. You will set up live sound and lighting, assist with production shows in the main theatre, and work with backstage teams to ensure tasks run smoothly on Marella Cruises.

The role requires at least 2 years of relevant experience, strong AV setup skills, and adherence to safety and emergency procedures. You will be an ambassador onboard, contributing to high‑quality guest experiences.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years in sound, lighting or stage management.
Operational knowledge of Audio Visual equipment.
Must hold STCW training certificates before joining.

Responsibilities

Deliver the technical requirements to a high standard for on‑board entertainment.
Set up sound and lighting systems as directed across venues.
Set up and maintain stage scenery, props and related equipment.
Assist in running production shows in the main theatre.
Work backstage with the Stage Manager during shows as needed.
Follow Safety procedures and assist with emergency procedures and drills.
Maintain accurate maintenance and equipment records; support cleaning schedules.
Assist with technical maintenance and upkeep of equipment onboard.
Act as an ambassador of RWS Global and Marella Cruises onboard.
