Job summary

Citygate Automotive Ltd. is seeking a Fleet Service Technician to service, diagnose and repair Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles on-site with our fleet partners in the UK. You will work independently at customer premises, representing Citygate and VW to uphold the brand’s high standards.

You will receive ongoing training and development through our in-house academy and Volkswagen learning centres, with opportunities for career progression across our brands and locations within the group.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualified vehicle technician with VAG group background.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong customer service focus and ability to explain technical info to non-technical audiences.
• Excellent organisation and time management with ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Receive work from workshop controller and perform checks, admin tasks and protection routines.
• Assess tool and equipment needs and communicate issues.
• Service and repair vehicles.
• Report on additional repair requirements identified.
• Provide written and verbal service/repair reports to obtain authorisation.
