Job summary

Storm Auto Services Ltd. is seeking a Mobile Diagnostic / Vehicle Technician to travel to customer sites across the Sheffield area. You will diagnose, program and update electronic modules, supporting the collision repair sector with OEM methods and high-quality customer service.

The role requires ATA/IMI certification and at least 3 years' hands-on automotive experience, with main dealer or manufacturer training preferred. A valid driver licence and PC literacy are essential.

Qualifications

• ATA/IMI certified is required.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in specialist automotive repair.
• Main dealer, manufacturer or specialist training preferred.
• PC literate and able to work unsupervised.
• Hold a valid driving licence.
• Able to negotiate with third parties and customers.
• Maintain and update technical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Travel to and from customer sites using company vehicle.
• Use a wide range of diagnostics skill to identify issues.
• Explain repairs to customers and provide good service.
• Test the functionality of parts and systems after repair.
• Research OEM repair methods and program modules
• Willing to gain additional certifications as needed.
