Job summary

Archway (Respite Care and Housing) Ltd in Aberdeen is hiring a Support Worker for our Dominies Road Service. This 39-hour day-shift role involves two 12-hour shifts and two 7.5-hour shifts on a three-week rolling rota.

Due to service requirements, only female applicants will be considered. The role includes personal care, administering medication, and supporting adults with learning disabilities to live independent lives. SVQ2 or willingness to achieve is essential.

Qualifications

• A relevant SVQ 2 (or willingness to achieve this) is essential.
• Experience in providing person-centred care and support.
• Ability to work as part of a team with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care in daily life activities.
• Administer medication as required and alongside care plans.
• Engage adults with learning disabilities in activities while promoting dignity and independence.
