Job summary

JD Sports Fashion at Kingsway Distribution Centre is seeking a proactive Profit and Asset Protection Manager to lead security operations on shift, ensuring posts are covered and risks are managed in real time.

You will supervise officers on the ground, conduct investigations, complete incident reports, and uphold SOPs while maintaining confidentiality and a safe, compliant site during a 4 on/4 off shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a security officer role with supervisory capabilities or readiness to step into supervision.
• SIA licensing is advantageous but not essential.
• Experience in distribution, logistics or corporate security environments.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the security operation during the shift with effective team deployment.
• Brief the team at shift start with clear tasks, priorities and updates.
• Monitor task completion and ensure SOPs are followed.
• Enforce rotation to support team development and maintain awareness.
• Conduct regular one-to-one meetings and document outcomes and actions.
• Carry out investigations into incidents and compile written records.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure site safety, security and compliance.
• Escalate matters to the Assistant Security Manager when needed.
• Oversee visitor/contractor/staff processes and gatehouse procedures.
