Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a security officer to protect customer assets and people on-site across sites in Swindon and surrounding areas.

You will work to meet KPIs, comply with legal and safety requirements, and maintain accurate incident records while using standard MS Office tools and mobile devices. The role requires a valid SIA licence (Guarding or Door Supervision), a front-line licence, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience is required.
• SIA Licence is required (Guarding or Door Supervision).
• SC Clearance must be obtainable.
• Driving license is required.
• Willingness to travel around Swindon and surrounding areas.
• Able to use mobile phone, computers and basic Microsoft packages.

Responsibilities

• Protect customer property, people and assets per Assignment Instructions (AI's).
• Meet/exceed KPIs and SLAs to retain the contract.
• Complete required competency training and renew licences before expiry.
• Ensure compliance with policies, UK law and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain safe, professional conduct and accurate incident reporting.
• Carry out check calls and report incidents to the Emergency/Control Centre.
