Job summary

Linde Material Handling is seeking a Resident Engineer for our Solihull site. You will diagnose and repair forklift equipment on customer premises, while performing preventative maintenance to keep fleets operating at peak efficiency.

The role supports a 4 on/4 off shift pattern (6am-6pm/6pm-6am) and offers a competitive salary with a 27.5% shift allowance, generous leave, and a strong pension plan. You will be part of a team that delivers world-class service.

Qualifications

• Experience as vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers, forklift experience preferred.
• Good IT skills and ability to use service records.
• Valid UK driving license.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
• NVQ Level 3 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site at customer locations.
• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet of material handling equipment.
• Build strong relationships and provide exceptional service.
• Work 4 on/4 off shifts at Solihull site.
