Job summary

Refrigeration Engineer role available in the Manchester area for a permanent position. You will deliver planned and reactive maintenance across multiple customer sites, acting as the first point of response for service activities and ensuring refrigeration systems comply with safety, compliance and performance standards.

Ideal candidates hold NVQ/City & Guilds in Refrigeration and a Refrigerant Handling qualification, with strong knowledge of refrigeration, electrical, air conditioning and

Qualifications

• Essential: NVQ / City & Guilds qualification in Refrigeration or related discipline.
• Essential: Refrigerant Handling qualification (City & Guilds 2079 or equivalent CITB).
• Strong technical knowledge of refrigeration, electrical, air conditioning and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance of refrigeration equipment at customer locations.
• Service, maintain and repair refrigeration systems and assist with HVAC equipment containing refrigeration circuits.
• Prioritise maintenance tasks to meet response times and SLAs.
• Identify non-repairable faults and report findings with replacement recommendations.
• Ensure PPMS are completed within agreed timescales.
• Complete and maintain technical, compliance and service documentation.
