Job summary

Connect Appointments has an exciting opportunity for a reliable Quantity Surveyor in Glasgow on-site, Monday to Friday. You will manage project costs, liaise with clients and teams, and ensure health and safety standards on site.

The ideal candidate holds an HND in Quantity Surveying and is proficient with CostX or Bluebeam, with strong negotiation and data analysis skills and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• HND or equivalent in Quantity Surveying (essential).
• Proficiency with CostX or Bluebeam for estimating and reporting.
• Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to negotiate, persuade and motivate others.
• Strong data analysis skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Managing costs and ensuring projects stay within budget.
• Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Reporting on project status periodically.
• Liaising with clients and construction professionals.
• Ensuring on-site processes and health & safety procedures are followed.
• Documenting and reporting site-based processes and events.
