Job summary

Elix Sourcing Solutions in Buckinghamshire is seeking a Production Technician to join our growing manufacturing team. You’ll assemble mechanical components and electronic assemblies, run basic tests and help prepare products for distribution.

The role is on-site, full-time (37.5 hours/week) with training, development opportunities and a focus on quality and accuracy in a hands-on production environment.

Qualifications

• Good eye for detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
• Experience with soldering, electrical assembly or similar practical work, or eagerness to learn.
• Comfortable using computers, including email and basic Excel.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Able to work on repetitive tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Keen to develop technical skills in engineering/manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components and electronic assemblies to required specifications.
• Carry out soldering and basic electrical assembly tasks.
• Collaborate with colleagues across production to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate production records and test results.
• Perform basic testing and quality checks on finished products.
• Prepare and pack finished products for distribution.
• Use a range of hand tools and production aids.
• Follow established processes and health & safety requirements.
