Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited is seeking a Production / On-Site Trainer to support development and performance on the shop floor. This hands-on role delivers training, coaching, and support to new and existing team members while ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met.

You will conduct inductions, support skills development, maintain training records, and work with supervisors to identify training needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Production Trainer, On-Site Trainer, Training Coordinator, Team Leader, or similar role within a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment.
• Strong communication and people-development skills.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and engage employees at all levels.
• Good organisational and administration skills.
• Confident delivering practical, hands-on training.
• A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site training and coaching across production operations.
• Conduct inductions and onboarding for new starters.
• Support employees through skills development and competency assessments.
• Maintain accurate training records and training matrices.
• Work closely with supervisors and managers to identify training needs.
• Ensure all training is delivered in line with company procedures, health & safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Monitor training effectiveness and provide regular feedback.
• Assist in creating and updating training materials, guides, and standard operating procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and best practices across the operation.
• Act as a point of contact for employee development and training queries.
