Job summary

Essity in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a Process Operator to operate a simple line or palletizer and support running the production line for hygiene products, following fixed specifications and SOPs.

As part of the shift team you will monitor the process, adjust as needed, prepare materials, and ensure safety and quality through routine checks and documentation.

Entry-level applicants are welcome; basic literacy, math, and equipment knowledge are sufficient, with training provided on site.

Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in a production or manufacturing environment, or willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of equipment.
• Exposure to operating basic machinery or performing simple tasks on a production line is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate the machine and monitor the process, adjusting as needed per SOP.
• Prepare materials for palletizing and load them onto the machine.
• Communicate with shift team and other operators.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Check product quality against specifications and reject if necessary.
• Complete required production documentation.
