Job summary

Carlisle Support Services is recruiting a Prevention Officer at Merica Park, Swadlincote. You will perform first response emergency care, fire safety compliance and security leadership on a 365-day site with rotating days and nights.

The role requires an in-date SIA badge, fitness testing, and leadership experience in security or emergency response. Training and career development are provided; 4 on 4 off pattern with 42 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• SIA badge valid and in date.
• Able to pass fitness tests (bleep test level 5.6).
• Leadership experience in security, fire prevention, or emergency response.
• First Aid at Work training or willingness to complete.

Responsibilities

• Provide FREC 3 First Response Emergency Care on site.
• Manage medical incidents; training provided prior to starting.
• Maintain fire safety compliance under BAFE standards; training provided.
• Follow and deliver a detailed schedule of fire infrastructure maintenance.
• Lead and support the on-site team with effective decision making under pressure.
