Job summary

2i Recruit Ltd is seeking a skilled Plumbing Engineer for a site-based role handling pipework and mechanical installations across London and the Southeast. You will read drawings, perform first-fix installations, and collaborate with site teams to ensure quality from installation to completion.

The role requires CSCS and SSSTS/SMSTS certifications, a valid UK driving licence, and willingness to travel with occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

Proven plumbing and pipework installation experience in construction environments.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and site plans.
Proficient with hand and power tools and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

Install, assemble and maintain pipework systems and related mechanical equipment.
Carry out first-fix pipework installations from measurements to connections.
Read CAD and Revit drawings to perform accurate site installations.
Coordinate with site managers and subcontractors to meet deadlines.
Ensure quality checks and safety compliance on site.
Supervise subcontractors when required and maintain tidy, safe workplaces.
