Job summary

Balfour Beatty HPC is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to manage time and attendance data, ensure accurate timecards, and submit records for payment across on-site staff. You will play a key role in resolving payroll queries and maintaining Kronos entries for starters, leavers, and lodge payments.

Ideal candidates will have an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, strong MS Office skills with Excel and data analysis ability, and experience handling payroll in large or complex environments.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent or competency-based assessment.
• Solid IT skills across MS Office Suite, incl Excel and data analysis ability.

Responsibilities

• Collate time and attendance records and ensure completeness of timecards.
• Submit timecards to partners for payment after investigation of non-attendance.
• Resolve pay queries efficiently to support industrial relations and employee wellbeing.
• Maintain Kronos records for starters, leavers and lodge payments.
• Input absence and holiday data for payroll processing.
• Investigate timesheet errors in priority order and process payroll corrections.
