Job summary

Parnassus Occupational Health and Wellbeing in Cumbria is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor for a part-time on-site role in Burton-on-Trent. You will deliver evidence-based assessments, advice, and interventions to a single client, including fitness-for-work assessments and sickness absence management in collaboration with managers and staff.

The role also covers health surveillance activities, wellbeing initiatives, and policy development.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse with formal occupational health qualification and experience.
Experience in sickness absence management and case management.
Knowledge of UK workplace health legislation and guidance.
Excellent communication, report-writing and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work autonomously and manage caseload independently.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day occupational health support to a single client, delivering evidence-based assessments, advice and interventions.
Conduct fitness-for-work assessments and manage sickness absence cases.
Support health surveillance activities and contribute to wellbeing initiatives.
Prepare clear occupational health reports and support management referrals with practical recommendations.
