Job summary

Marston Foods in Frome is seeking a Specification & Artwork Technologist to create and maintain product specifications and manage artwork for packaging. Qualifications

• Experience with writing retailer online specification systems.
• Organisational skills for requesting and filing material information.
• Experience with checking artwork and legal labelling requirements.
• Knowledge of specifying transit packaging and completing transit trials.
• Experience with 3rd party online systems such as Brandbank and Valpack.
• Ability to prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines.
• Good personal and communication skills.
• Be flexible to attend customer visits/meetings.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain and update product specifications for accuracy and compliance across dessert lines.
• Manage artwork for packaging and check labels against legal, customer and brand requirements.
• Enter data into specification systems and review proofs.
• Support customer queries and contribute to continuous improvement of specification and artwork processes.
