Job summary

SGX Graphics in Cleckheaton is seeking a Senior Packaging Artworker to deliver accurate, print-ready artwork across FMCG brands. You will work from master files, guidelines and client briefs to ensure brand consistency and right-first-time output.

You will also provide day-to-day guidance to artworkers, support quality standards and contribute to team development and performance reviews.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience as a Packaging Artworker / Production Artist in FMCG packaging.
• High-quality, print-ready packaging artwork production expertise.
• Strong knowledge of design to print constraints and brand guidelines.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Confident communicator with ability to mentor peers and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality, print-ready packaging artwork from design files, briefs, corporate guidelines and print specifications.
• Take ownership of the accurate application of design, brand and legal copy across packaging formats.
• Ensure all artwork is technically correct and suitable for auto repro, considering colours, varnishes, whites, printer specifications and mark-up.
• Adhere to artwork checklists and SOPs, ensuring consistently high standards and right-first-time delivery.
• Produce basic to complex level artwork using industry-standard software and print techniques.
• Ensure all deliverables meet client, brand and technical specifications, and deadlines.
• Provide technical guidance and day-to-day support to artworkers; contribute to performance reviews.
• Collaborate with QA, Pre-production, Operations Manager and Production teams for consistency.
