Job summary

OH Medical is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join as on-site Team Leader in Warton, Preston. You will balance hands-on clinical work with line management of the on-site OH team for a major client.

The role requires NMC Part 1 registration, a postgraduate OH qualification (or working towards one), and proven experience delivering the full OH remit including case management and health surveillance.

Qualifications

• Current NMC Part 1 registration.
• Postgraduate Occupational Health qualification or working towards one.
• Experience delivering the full Occupational Health remit.
• Strong case management and health surveillance experience.
• Previous managerial, supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Knowledge of OH legislation and professional standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to provide feedback.
• Full rights to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent telephone and face-to-face medical assessments.
• Produce clear, evidence-based reports for managers.
• Undertake Occupational Health case management.
• Complete health surveillance and fitness-for-work assessments.
• Issue appropriate fitness certificates.
• Provide professional advice to managers and employees.
• Supervise on-site clinical team.
• Attend client meetings and deliver training when required.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure standards.
• Support workplace wellbeing initiatives.
