Job summary

RELEX Solutions is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join our Merchandising team. You’ll be embedded in the customer environment, configuring, extending, and building on the RELEX platform to suit one client’s operational context.

The role emphasizes travel, on-site work, and driving measurable improvements in supply chain performance. You’ll collaborate with product and sales teams to scope and deliver solutions, demonstrate ROI, and ensure successful deployments across retailers and

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and building software across the full stack.
• Strong understanding of system design, observability, and hypothesis-driven development.
• Experience building integrations for downstream or customer-facing systems.
• Willingness to travel and to work on-site at customer locations for parts of an engagement.

Responsibilities

• Own technical delivery end to end, from discovery through go-live: configuration, extensions, integrations and quality of shipping code.
• Demonstrate impact by instrumenting deployments and presenting outcomes to users and executives.
• Manage the technical customer relationship and learn operations to challenge requirements.
• Capture field gaps and prototype solutions to feed the product roadmap and future releases.
• Transfer knowledge to customers to achieve self-sufficiency and durable adoption of RELEX.
