Job summary

Futon Incorporated is seeking a Medical Material Technician to support the 48th Medical Group at RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom. You will handle receiving, storing, selecting and delivering medical materials and maintain accurate records to ensure clinic readiness.

The role is full-time with standard hours 0730–1630, Monday–Friday, requiring dependable, detail-oriented performance in a warehouse/medical supply environment with a focus on timely deliveries and strict safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory or medical supply is preferred.
• Ability to lift and move medical supplies safely.
• Ability to receive, identify, store and distribute items accurately.
• Basic computer skills for automated systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Follow established procedures and instructions.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a Futron vehicle.
• Reliable with ability to cover assigned hours.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload and process incoming medical supply shipments.
• Distribute shipments to clinics and site locations.
• Scan barcodes and enter receipt data into the system.
• Verify shipments against documentation.
• Select and prepare medical supplies for distribution daily.
• Deliver supplies to clinics by 1630 hours.
• Store, palletize and rotate medical supplies safely.
• Maintain organized, stocked storage areas.
• Distribute medical gas tanks as required.
• Escort delivery trucks and retrieve incoming supplies within 30 minutes.
• Maintain at least one warehouse team member on site 0730–1630.
• Follow safety, handling, inventory and receiving procedures.
• Perform other medical material and warehouse duties as assigned.
