French Consulting seeks a Biomedical Equipment Technician to support operations at the Air Force bases in Lakenheath, Mildenhall, and Feltwell in the UK. The role requires an associates degree or higher or equivalent, English language proficiency, and at least three years in hospital healthcare equipment maintenance.

The incumbent will repair, calibrate, and maintain medical equipment, document maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifikationen

• Associates degree or higher, or equivalent (e.g., military training) as an electronics technician and/or Biomedical Equipment Technician.
• English reading, speaking and writing required.
• Minimum of three (3) years hospital/healthcare experience performing medical equipment maintenance.
• Working knowledge of computers: internet, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, and Windows OS.

Aufgaben

• Repair, calibrate, and maintain medical equipment with minimal supervision.
• Maintain documentation systems and report information for medical equipment maintenance.
• Inspect and install medical equipment for use by clinicians and researchers.
• Perform maintenance, testing, repair, and operation per OEM guidance.
• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance procedures.
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair equipment for proper function.
• Prepare work orders for equipment repair and setup/installation.
• Evaluate new electronic medical equipment.
• Perform bench work on mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment and keep maintenance records.
