Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Sprinkler Installation Engineer to join our Fire Suppression Delivery team in the UK. This hands-on, site-based role focuses on installing and commissioning fire protection systems and includes extensive travel across the UK.

You will work to high safety and quality standards, read mechanical drawings, and coordinate with project managers. A full UK driving licence and willingness to stay away from home are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience installing and commissioning fire suppression systems.
• Strong mechanical background with pipework, valves and pumps.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Full UK driving licence and commitment to safety standards.
• Ability to work to project deadlines and prioritise tasks.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, commission and hand over wet/dry/pre-action deluge and hydrant systems.
• Conduct flushing, pressure, flow and functional testing per procedures.
• Diagnose and resolve on-site installation and commissioning issues.
• Support pre-commissioning inspections and client acceptance tests.
• Ensure installations align with drawings, specs and standards.
