Amentum is seeking an experienced commercial professional to lead the on-site commercial function for the Hinkley Point C project. You will manage NEC-based contract activities, payments and variations while developing strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.

The role requires degree-level qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management and post-graduation experience in commercial contracts. It is site-based with hybrid working options where feasible.

Qualifikationen

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or similar related subject.
• Quantity Surveying or Commercial Contract Management post-graduation work experience.
• Working knowledge of Construction Contracts, ideally NEC forms.
• Security Cleared or able to obtain the required level of clearance.
• Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate confidently and work well under pressure.
• Hands on with a can-do attitude and good work ethic, team and autonomous work.
• Locally based or willing to be based on site.
• Strong MS Office skills and general IT competence.
• Right to work in the UK.

Aufgaben

• Work with the Commercial Manager and Project Controls to deliver the framework's commercial function.
• Develop relationships with client and subcontract teams to meet contract requirements; manage NEC contract activities, payments, pricing and variations.
• Ensure sub-contracts are in place with proper change control, early warning, and compensation events; support cost reporting and forecasts.
