Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Senior Site Specialist for Unity Lab Services based in Oxford, UK. You will be the on-site partner supporting laboratory operations, inventory control, equipment coordination, and compliance with GMP/GLP.

You will work closely with scientists and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery, drive continuous improvement, and maintain safety and documentation standards in a dynamic lab environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in lab, scientific, logistics or customer service environments.
• Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related field preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain laboratory inventory systems and stock control processes.
• Coordinate daily laboratory support operations on customer sites.
• Ensure accurate tracking of materials, chemicals, and consumables.
• Support equipment handling, maintenance coordination, and lab readiness.
• Ensure GMP/GLP compliance and safety regulations.
• Maintain documentation and operational records.
• Collaborate with scientists, researchers, and internal teams.
• Deliver high-quality customer service and on-site support.
• Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities in lab operations.
