Job summary

Morris & Spottiswood, based in Glasgow, is recruiting an experienced Planner to support our Fitout Scotland division. The role requires on-site work across live projects with strong planning input from tender through to completion.

You will bring at least 5 years in planning, with hands-on use of Asta Powerproject and exposure to fast-track fit-out environments. The role emphasizes collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• You will be an experienced Planner with a proven delivery track record on fast-track fit-out projects.
• Structured, methodical planning approach with strong communication to site teams and stakeholders.
• Experience in live, occupied environments and time-critical programmes.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining fully logic-linked construction programmes from tender through to completion.
• Breaking down scope into tasks, sequences and milestones aligned to methodology.
• Working with project managers, site teams, commercial teams and subcontractors to gather planning data.
• Monitoring progress and updating programmes to reflect performance.
• Identifying programme risks and proposing mitigations.
• Producing planning reports for management and stakeholders.
• Assisting resource and cost planning to align labour and materials with programme needs.
• Attending progress meetings to provide planning insight.
