Job summary

American Society of Civil Engineers is seeking an Environmental Advisor to support a long-term infrastructure framework across Scotland. The role involves visiting projects, identifying environmental risks and advising site teams to implement workable controls.

You will conduct inspections and audits, help with ISO 14001 compliance, and collaborate with clients, regulators and the supply chain to drive better environmental performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental roles within construction, civils, utilities or infrastructure.
• Environmental qualification or related degree.
• Understanding of environmental legislation, management systems and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Visit projects to identify environmental risks and advise site teams on workable controls.
• Carry out inspections and audits, support ISO 14001 compliance, and guide teams on environmental performance.
