Job summary
Amey is recruiting an Electrician for HMP Berwyn, Wrexham, to perform planned and preventative electrical maintenance and fault finding across prison facilities. The role requires working at height, adherence to safety standards, and cooperation with Responsible/Authorised persons.

Qualifications
- Experience with planned and preventative electrical maintenance.
- Knowledge of electrical safety requirements and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Planned and preventative electrical maintenance on prison facilities.
- Fault finding and problem solving on electrical systems.
- Carry out like-for-like replacements with inspections and tests per BS7671.
- Ensure electrical systems are safe and compliant for staff and residents.
- Assist Responsible and Authorised persons when required.
- Ensure health & safety standards and risk assessments are followed.
- Assist escorting duties as required.
