Job summary

Amey is recruiting for an electrical maintenance professional to service HMP Frankland under the MoJ account. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and ensure compliance with BS7671 while maintaining meticulous records. A strong safety culture and ability to work on-site are essential.

Candidates with Level 2 Electrical Installation and BS7671 qualifications will thrive in this role, which includes weekend rota participation and a salary package with shift allowance.

Qualifications

• Proactive and safety-focused approach, able to work independently.
• Understands Electricity at Work Regulations and safety requirements.
• Good organisational and time management abilities; communicates effectively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned and reactive electrical maintenance to keep facilities safe and compliant.
• Diagnose faults and resolve issues across electrical systems with minimal disruption.
• Carry out repairs, replacements, inspections and testing per BS7671.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for safety and compliance.
