Job summary

Amey Ltd is seeking an On-Site Electrician at Hindley (HMYOI Hindley) to maintain essential electrical systems on a secure site. The role offers 39 hours per week with a shift rota and a salary of £30,866 - £36,135 plus 15% weekend allowance.

Responsibilities include planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, BS7671 testing, minor works, and ensuring safety and compliance. Applicants should have Level 2 Electrical Installation, 18th Edition (17th accepted with training), and knowledge of

Qualifications

• Level 2 Electrical Installation qualification.
• 18th Edition preferred (17th accepted with training).
• Experience in maintenance / fault finding.
• Knowledge of Electric at Work Regulations.
• Good understanding of H&S.
• Able to work independently and at height.
• Basic IT skills.
• Fire alarm or CCTV knowledge.
