Job summary

Babcock International is seeking a Facilities Manager to own the management, maintenance, and readiness of Emergency Feeding Facilities at HMNB Devonport and related sites in a regulated defence environment.

This full-time, on-site role works with MoD personnel and contractors to deliver safe, compliant facilities and high service standards, with career development opportunities in a global defence organisation. SC clearance required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities management or related operational field.
• Experience in asset management, property management or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and safe systems of work.
• Experience managing contractors and coordinating subcontractors.
• Excellent stakeholder relationship and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Emergency Feeding Facilities and related assets to ensure readiness and compliance.
• Coordinate inspections, audits, and maintenance activities.
• Oversee contractor and subcontractor work ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Maintain strong relationships with MoD personnel, customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
