Job summary

Saint-Gobain UK & Ireland is recruiting a Technical Consultant to deliver on-site support across Manchester and the Yorkshire region. You will act as the technical expert for main contractors and sub-contractors, translating complex construction concepts into practical solutions on site.

You’ll manage your own diary, collaborate with sales teams, and contribute to product development by feeding market insights.

Qualifications

• What we're looking for demonstrates strong on-site construction knowledge.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to varied audiences.
• Confidence reading construction drawings and interpreting data.

Responsibilities

• Providing hands-on technical support to main contractors, sub-contractors, designers, architects and consultants
• Helping the business hit specification and sales targets through strong technical influence
• Feeding into the development of new products and services based on what you're seeing in the market
• Building collaborative relationships across teams to keep everyone aligned and working efficiently
• Championing safe working practices and looking out for your own wellbeing and that of others on site
• Developing your own technical knowledge and sharing best practice with colleagues
