Deerfoot Recruitment Solutions in Salisbury is seeking an Application Packager to own the packaging function for a high-profile client environment. This on-site role emphasizes hands-on packaging, automation ideas, and an improved end-user experience.

You will join the End User Services UK team, working across multiple platforms with QA/testing, documentation, and active collaboration with vendors to drive efficiency and change. Salary £36,000–£40,000 with a strong benefits package and training.

Qualifications

• Experience in application packaging across multiple platforms.
• Experience with a variety of packaging tools.
• Knowledge of packaging formats and standards.
• Strong troubleshooting and issue-resolution skills.
• Desirable: familiarity with SCCM Current Branch.

Responsibilities

• Provide software to the client through an organised, controlled and fully monitored packaging process.
• Carry out quality assurance testing and assist with UAT fault resolution.
• Document each application clearly – what it’s expected to do and how that was achieved.
• Build strong relationships with the client, third parties and vendors.
• Identify automation and efficiency opportunities, plus hands-on problem solving and solutioning.
