Job summary
83zero Limited is seeking a Workplace Engineer to own packaging, testing and troubleshooting of applications in a hands-on role based in Salisbury. The position requires SC eligibility and UK residency for the last 5 years, with security clearance compulsory.
The role covers packaging across platforms, QA testing, documenting processes, and opportunities to automate packaging workflows while collaborating with clients and vendors on-site.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in Application Packaging.
- Experience packaging applications across multiple platforms.
- Good knowledge of different packaging tools and formats.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with application testing and QA; SCCM Current Branch experience is desirable.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Packaging applications across multiple platforms.
- Using a range of packaging tools and formats.
- Carrying out quality assurance and application testing.
- Troubleshooting packaging and application issues.
- Supporting UAT and resolving faults.
- Producing clear technical documentation.
- Working with clients, third parties and software vendors.
- Identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement.
