Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Mobile Mechanical Engineer to support MET Police contracts in North West London, servicing two sites on a single account. You will perform maintenance and engineering tasks across HVAC and water systems, ensuring high-quality service on site.

You will coordinate with the client, complete documentation, and uphold safety and compliance standards. MET Police clearance may be required, with on-call responsibilities across the region.

Qualifications

• Background in facilities management or mobile maintenance.
• Experience on-call across a region.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Plumbing or Heating & Ventilation qualification.
• Experience in commercial building maintenance from a mechanical engineering perspective.
• Willingness to undergo MET Police SC Clearance (may take up to 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPMs, reactive maintenance and fault finding across MET Police sites.
• Act as a key contact for the client, reporting defects and keeping them updated during visits.
• Complete all work-related documentation including inspection logs and remedial records.
• Maintain and repair AHUs, ventilation systems, water heaters and related assets.
